64th BFCC

KEITH WILTON PLANNING 64th BFCC FOR 2016

Yes, Keith is serious about another British Film Collectors Convention. So it looks like you will still have one more opportunity to attend this historic event which has been taking place since 1976. The first film collectors convention hosted in the UK and still going today - quite an achievement. All others have come and gone but the original remains. There is of course the Blackpool film fair which started a few years ago after Derann ceased trading and a few other village hall gatherings, but the important thing is, the original and best has survived.

So, if you want to see Super 8 in CinemaScope on a genuine 24 foot wide screen then the BFCC is the only place you're ever likely to see it.

Also planned shortly is another major Wilton/Filmtek DVD release which follows up on his hugely successful Cinerama documentary of 2011. We can't tell you much right now other than we know for sure there is a tour of the three-strip Cinerama projection room of the world famous Cineramadome in Los Angeles.
