The Austin Healey Sprite was launched in 1958 to fill the gap in the market for an affordable sports car which had been left when the original MG Midget went out of production. How fitting then that the 1961 MG version of the Sprite was called ‘Midget’.
The ‘works’ racing programme is featured with top Healey race driver, Clive Baker, detailing some of the Sprite history at Le Mans, Sebring and other historic circuits around the world.
Extra features are the extended interview with Clive Baker (Healey Works Race Driver) and ‘South-West Spridgets where we meet some of the owners plus get a close-up look at their cars. Also, Mike Dalby with his original 1930 MG Midget.
